Delete your BusyCam account

Last updated: 2026-09-03

You can delete your account and the data BusyCam holds about you at any time. Two ways, both lead to the same result.

1. In the app (fastest)

  1. Open BusyCam and sign in.
  2. Go to Menu → Delete Account.
  3. The screen shows exactly what will be removed — how many workspaces and projects, and how many people would lose access if you own a team workspace.
  4. Confirm. Deletion happens immediately.

2. By request (no app needed)

Write to [PRIVACY EMAIL] from the email address of the Google account you use to sign in, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request.

What gets deleted

What is NOT deleted: your photos and videos in Google Drive. They live in your Google Drive, under your own account, and they belong to you rather than to us — often as the only proof of work done on a site. Deleting your BusyCam account does not touch them.

If you want those files gone as well, open Google Drive and delete the BusyCam folder there yourself. Files removed in Drive go to the Drive trash and are recoverable there for 30 days.
If you own a workspace where other people work, deleting your account ends their access too. The app tells you how many people are affected before you confirm. If the team should keep working, transfer the workspace to someone else first — contact [SUPPORT EMAIL].

How long we keep anything

Deleted records are held for 30 days so support can restore an account after an accidental or disputed deletion. After 30 days they are erased permanently and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. We do not keep them beyond that period.

To restore an account inside those 30 days, write to [SUPPORT EMAIL] from the same email address.
