1. Who we are

Busycam ("we", "the app") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME],

2. What BusyCam does

Busycam is a construction-site photo documentation tool. Photos and videos you

capture are stored in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers.

3. Data we process

Account data

• Email address and display name from your Google account (admins) or the

internal account created for you by your administrator (workers).

• A unique user identifier issued by Google Firebase Authentication.

Google Drive access

• We request only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This

scope grants access exclusively to files and folders this app itself

creates. We cannot see, list, open or modify anything else in your Drive —

not because we promise not to, but because Google does not grant us the

ability.

• We store an encrypted Google refresh token so uploads can continue in the

background. It is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and readable only by our server.

• We never read, index, or share files unrelated to BusyCam.

Photo and project metadata (stored in Google Cloud Firestore)

• File names, sizes, capture timestamps, project and folder names,

upload status, Google Drive file identifiers, thumbnail links.

• The photo content itself stays in your Google Drive.

Location data

• The app requests precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION). It is used for

exactly one purpose: writing the coordinates of a shot into the photo file

itself (the EXIF GPS fields), so that a photo can later prove where the

work was done. The coordinates travel with the photo into your own Google

Drive; we do not build a location history, and we do not read your location

when the camera is not being used.

• If you decline the permission, photos are taken and uploaded as normal,

without coordinates.

Device and diagnostic data

• Device model and app version, error diagnostics, and — for team accounts —

the device identifier of the last sign-in, used to enforce the one-device

rule and detect shared credentials.

4. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your photos to train machine-learning models.
• We do not show advertising.
• We do not access Google Drive files outside the BusyCam folder — and with

the drive.file scope we technically cannot.

5. Google API Services disclosure

Busycam's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the

Google API Services User Data Policy,

including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Sharing

Photos become accessible to others only when you create a share link. Such

links are unlisted (not indexed by search engines) and can be revoked by you at

any time. Team members see only the projects assigned to them.

Service providers we rely on: Google Cloud Platform / Firebase (hosting,

authentication, database) and Google Drive (your file storage).

7. Retention and deletion

• Deleted photos are moved to your Google Drive trash and remain recoverable for

30 days, after which Google removes them permanently.

• Project and reporting records are retained so historical statistics stay

accurate; records for permanently removed files are marked as such rather than

erased.

• To delete your account and associated data, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL].

[OUTSTANDING — BLOCKS GOOGLE PLAY RELEASE: an in-app "Delete account" path

does not exist yet. Play requires one for any app with accounts.]

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA and similar), you may request access

to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing.

9. Children

Busycam is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16.
